Life is hard and comes with responsibility that will bring pain and heartache. People make choices that hurt us, and we make choices that hurt us too and others. Being a father and mother brings decisions and obligation that comes with pressure, fear, stress, and anxiety. We can also find joy, happiness, and peace within these roles. I don’t know about you. I can become overwhelmed and struggle to find meaning and purpose under such circumstances.
One thing for sure, life brings change and how we deal with change in life will determine much of who we are and what we want to show our children, posterity, and others what we are made of. What legacy do you want to leave behind. We try to cope and deal with life in so many ways. We turn to drugs, alcohol, other people, extramarital affairs, social media, pornography, and shopping and the list can go on and on. I ask, are you achieving your life and career goals? Are you creating memories and have lasting relationships full of love, joy, and happiness? How are you dealing with life? Heathy or unhealthy? How is your self-worth and self-esteem? What gets you out of bed when the world and life feel unfair and unjust?
I have been paralyzed due to fear of being a failure unable to meet the demands of life. If these are questions and feelings you have felt and would like to find answers, please come and let’s find solutions together. I’m drawn to this work due to my own experiences in life that left me destitute, alone, scared, and full of fear with nothing of emotional, physical, or spiritual value. Life has been hard for me! I am a work in progress. I will be honest with you, and we will find strength to continue and find purpose to help us when life just doesn’t make sense.
